Green Fluorescent Leak Detection Powder provides a highly visible method for locating leaks and dust bypass in baghouses and industrial dust collection systems. Green is particularly useful for aluminum, cement, and utility applications, providing maintenance teams with a distinctive fluorescent tracer to inspect filter bags, cartridges, seals, seams, and other potential leak paths.

During a leak test, green powder is introduced into the dirty-air stream and carried through the dust collector. If damaged filter media, improper sealing, or another opening allows material to bypass the filtration system, fluorescent powder can accumulate on the clean side. Technicians can then use an appropriate UV light to identify the tracer and narrow down potential leak locations.

Green can also be a useful contrasting color for repeat inspections, particularly when pink or orange powder was used during a previous test. Changing colors can help technicians distinguish the new fluorescent tracer from residue left by an earlier inspection. Each case contains four 5-lb pails for a total of 20 lb.
